Tubes do not perform well, which is probably why they’re being phased out.

- ink flow seemed fine but nothing to write home about. not great, not terrible.
- tube stem is thin and weak, warping and cracking easily in certain tube vices like swing-gates or my liner that uses a South State floor plate and their pinch style vice.
- the grips on nearly all of these aren’t securely attached to the tube, maybe from a bad adhesive. This results in the grip twusting and rotating as you’re working, so you’re fighting your equipment instead of being able to focus on tattooing.

I got these on sale for like 10 bucks a box and I can see why. Basically felt like cheap Amazon garbage repackaged into a really cool box.

I prefer the round angle tips for lining, and open flats for shading; always consistent, ships FAST and for the right price. 10/10 highly recommend!
